Hello brigands!
My apologies for the delay in updates. We've been in "low power" mode a bit since the last books were shipped out, but I wanted to check in and let you know about a few upcoming developments.
First up, Refuge and Despair. Refuge's layout is moving towards completion, with the next steps being a few quality checks and proof ordering before we enter full production! Exciting times! Meanwhile, Despair is moving towards being text-complete, and we expect to start editing it soon.
Next, the Brinkwood SRD has been released! For all the hackers and designers out there, this is your chance to create and sell your own custom content for Brinkwood, so check it out! We're also currently running a game design jam using the SRD, so feel free to submit your creations. I'm already excited to see the strange and inventive twists and turns people are taking with Brinkwood.
See you all in the forest!
Hello brigands!
Another month, another update! Let's get to it.
We are happy to announce that Brinkwood is now available from Indie Press Revolution, and we've already got a few retailer orders in! If you'd like to see Brinkwood at your FLGS, point them at Indie Press Revolution! We are also happy to offer a brick-and-mortar guarantee, outlined in detail on our website. Essentially, if new players purchase a hard copy of Brinkwood from a retailer, they can send us an e-mail and get a complimentary copy of the PDF version!
Brinkwood: Refuge has completed it's editing process, and is moving towards layout! We appreciate your patience as we continue to work to make both Refuge and Despair the best possible games.
The insightful Talen Lee has published a video essay on Brinkwood, that I highly recommend checking out. He brings some great insight into the origins of Brinkwood, as well as some interesting perspective on Brinkwood's place in the wider tabletop roleplaying game community.
